What does your role as the designer for Forever & a Day involve?

My role involves designing and developing Forever & a Day eyewear, from concept through to production. This involves researching trends, creating concepts, selecting materials and colours, and working closely with our manufacturers to ensure the final products meets both the brand’s aesthetic and quality standards. 

I also style and photograph the lifestyle imagery for each launch, helping to bring the vision behind every collection together and support our branding. 

How would you describe Forever & a Day in three words?

Confident, empowering and dynamic. 

Which Forever & a Day frame best represents the brand and why?

I’d choose Benson C01. It’s a unisex frame that strikes a balance between trend and practicality. The design nods towards the low-lug and skinnier eyewear trend profiles, but with smaller sizing, making it a great choice for teens and petite faces. Additionally, the colours of the frame feature layered acetate, a key feature of the collection: sage green layered with brown, which elevates the whole frame.

Where do you look for inspiration when creating new collections?

I take inspiration from streetstyle images and social media to explore fashion’s frame trends and colours that resonate with our youthful audience. 

Alongside this, we have an extensive design library to reference frames from to get the fit right.
